Victor Greene

What I offer

I provide short-term and long-term couples and individual therapy, depending on each client's needs and goals. My therapeutic approach draws on psychoanalytic, existential, and humanistic perspectives, enabling a flexible and depth-oriented way of working tailored to each individual.

  • People are motivated by what they are aware of in themselves, and as importantly, by what they are not aware of, or can’t know.

  • Problems with important people in one’s past are repeated in present relationships, most often without knowing that this is occurring.

  • The relationship with the psychotherapist is the key to working through emotional and relational difficulties.

  • Development never stops and continues from infancy, through childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age.

  • We are continually informed by our history, our current state, and our environment, and the lines between these sources of our experience remain forever indeterminate.

  • An unrelenting respect for the complexity of human experiencing and personal individuality.
